By engaging our services, you authorize us to create accounts on your behalf with these platforms and to share your information as necessary to process your applications.

4. Service Packages and Fees

4.1 Available Packages

We offer flexible service packages designed for different needs:

  1. Complete Package – PKR 75,000

    • All 7 Core Services included

    • Unlimited consultations throughout the process

    • Applications to 8-12 universities

    • Customized SOP for each university

    • Mock visa interviews (3-5 sessions for USA)

  2. Application + Visa Package – PKR 50,000

    • University selection & admissions (5-8 universities)

    • Complete application support

    • Basic scholarship guidance

    • Student visa processing (complete)

    • Interview preparation (if applicable)

    • Pre-departure checklist

  3. Visa Processing Only – PKR 30,000

    • Complete visa document preparation

    • Visa application form completion

    • Financial documentation strategy

    • Interview preparation (3 sessions for USA)

    • Visa appointment booking assistance

  4. Consultation & Guidance – PKR 5,000

    • 2-3 expert consultation sessions (90 minutes each)

4.2 Payment Terms

  • All fees must be paid in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing

  • Payment methods accepted: Bank transfer, online payment (as available)

  • Fees are subject to change, but changes will not affect confirmed bookings

  • Additional charges may apply for services not included in your selected package

4.3 No Hidden Fees

We are committed to transparency. All fees will be clearly communicated before you engage our services. Any additional costs (e.g., university application fees, visa fees, language tests, courier charges) are the responsibility of the Client and are not included in our service fees unless explicitly stated.

5. Client Responsibilities

By engaging our services, you agree to:

5.1 Provide Accurate Information

  • Provide complete, accurate, and truthful information at all times

  • Inform us immediately of any changes to your personal, academic, or financial information

  • Submit all required documents in a timely manner

  • Ensure all documents provided are genuine and have not been falsified or altered

5.2 Cooperation and Communication

  • Respond promptly to our requests for information or documentation

  • Attend scheduled consultation sessions and meetings

  • Read and review all documents we prepare before submission

  • Inform us of any concerns or questions you may have

5.3 Third-Party Fees and Obligations

  • Pay all third-party fees directly to the relevant parties (universities, visa application centers, testing agencies, etc.)

  • Comply with all requirements set by universities, visa authorities, and immigration departments

  • Attend visa interviews and biometric appointments as scheduled

5.4 Compliance with Laws

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in Pakistan and your destination country

  • Not engage in any fraudulent, illegal, or unethical conduct

  • Not misrepresent your qualifications, background, or intentions

6. Our Obligations and Limitations

6.1 Professional Services

We commit to:

  • Providing honest, unbiased, and personalized guidance

  • Maintaining professional standards in all our services

  • Protecting your personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy

  • Keeping you informed about your application status and progress

6.2 Important Limitations

No Guarantee of Admission or Visa Approval:

  • We do not guarantee admission to any university or visa approval

  • University admissions and visa decisions are made solely by the respective institutions and authorities

  • Our role is to maximize your chances of success through thorough preparation and guidance

  • We have a proven 95%+ visa success rate, but outcomes depend on various factors beyond our control

Independent Consultant:

  • We are an independent consultancy and not agents or representatives of any university or government authority

  • We do not have any partnership or commission arrangements with universities

  • Our recommendations are based purely on your profile, goals, and preferences

Third-Party Services:

  • We use partner platforms (ApplyBoard, Studee, KC Overseas Education) for application processing

  • We are not responsible for technical issues, delays, or policies of these third-party platforms

  • Any disputes with third-party service providers must be resolved directly with them

7. Consent Form Requirement

Before we commence any services, you must:

  1. Sign a Consent Form authorizing us to:

    • Collect, use, and share your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy

    • Create accounts on your behalf with partner platforms (ApplyBoard, Studee, KC Overseas Education)

    • Submit applications and documents to universities and visa authorities

    • Communicate with universities, visa authorities, and relevant parties on your behalf

    • Retain your documents for application, visa processing, and future use

  2. Complete a Student Information Form providing:

    • Personal details, academic history, test scores

    • Preferred study destinations and programs

    • Financial information and budget

    • Career goals and preferences

Without a signed consent form, we cannot proceed with providing our services.

8. Document Retention and Use

8.1 Document Retention

By engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • We will retain all documents you provide (academic transcripts, test scores, financial documents, personal identification, etc.)

  • Documents will be stored securely in physical and/or electronic format

  • We may use your documents for:

    • Processing your current applications

    • Visa documentation and submission

    • Future applications or services you may request

    • Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

8.2 Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your documents and personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

8.3 Document Return

Upon request after completion of services, we can return original documents to you. However, we reserve the right to retain copies for our records and legal compliance purposes.

9. Refund Policy

9.1 No Refunds After Service Commencement

Important: Once you have paid our service fees and we have commenced providing services, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

This policy applies to all service packages and is in effect once:

  • Your initial consultation has taken place

  • We have begun work on your profile assessment

  • We have started university shortlisting or research

  • Any application preparation work has commenced

  • Visa processing has begun

9.2 Cancellation Before Service Commencement

You may cancel your engagement and request a full refund within 14 days of payment only if:

  • No services have been provided

  • No consultation sessions have taken place

  • No work has been initiated on your applications

To request a cancellation and refund before service commencement, you must notify us in writing at hello@hoisthorizons.com within 14 days of payment.

9.3 Non-Refundable Circumstances

No refunds will be provided in the following circumstances:

  • University rejects your application

  • Visa application is refused

  • You change your mind about studying abroad

  • You do not meet university admission requirements

  • You fail to provide required documents or information in a timely manner

  • You are unable to meet financial requirements for visa processing

  • You decide to apply to a different country or university not included in your package

  • You withdraw from the process after services have commenced

9.4 Third-Party Fees

University application fees, visa fees, language test fees, courier charges, and any other third-party fees are non-refundable and are not included in our service fees. These fees are paid directly to the respective service providers.

9.5 Exceptional Circumstances

In rare and exceptional circumstances (e.g., discontinuation of our business, inability to provide contracted services), we may consider partial refunds on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.

10. Timelines and Deadlines

10.1 General Timeline

The study abroad application and visa process typically takes 6-12 months from initial consultation to departure. Specific timelines depend on:

  • Your destination country and chosen universities

  • Application deadlines and intake periods

  • Visa processing times

  • Your responsiveness in providing documents

10.2 Your Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Meeting all deadlines for document submission

  • Responding to our requests in a timely manner

  • Attending scheduled meetings and consultation sessions

  • Submitting applications before university deadlines

Missed Deadlines: If you miss a deadline due to your delay in providing information or documents, we are not responsible for any resulting consequences, including missed application cycles or visa appointment delays.

11. Intellectual Property

11.1 Ownership of Materials

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Hoist Horizons Consultancy and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.

11.2 Student Documents

Documents we create on your behalf (SOPs, LORs, resumes, application forms) are prepared specifically for your use in university applications and visa processing. You may not share, sell, or distribute these documents to third parties for commercial purposes.

12. Confidentiality

12.1 Our Commitment

We treat all your personal information and documents as confidential and will not disclose them to third parties except:

  • As necessary to provide our services (e.g., submitting applications to universities)

  • With your explicit consent

  • As required by law or legal process

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

13.1 Services "As Is"

  • The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information provided

  • University admission decisions or visa approval outcomes

  • Changes in university policies, visa regulations, or immigration laws

  • The availability or functionality of third-party platforms (ApplyBoard, Studee, KC Overseas Education)

13.2 Information Accuracy

We make every effort to ensure the information we provide about universities, programs, visa requirements, and application processes is accurate. However:

  • University policies and requirements change frequently

  • Visa regulations and immigration laws are subject to change

  • We are not responsible for errors or omissions in information provided by universities or government authorities

You are responsible for verifying all information with the relevant universities and authorities.

14. Limitation of Liability

14.1 Maximum Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claims arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount of fees you have paid to us for those services.

14.2 Exclusions

We are not liable for any:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

  • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities

  • Loss of data or information

  • Damages arising from visa refusals, university rejections, or delays

  • Damages resulting from your reliance on information provided by third parties

  • Damages caused by third-party service providers (ApplyBoard, Studee, KC Overseas Education)

  • Damages resulting from changes in university policies, visa regulations, or immigration laws

15. Termination

15.1 Termination by You

You may terminate our services at any time by providing written notice to hello@hoisthorizons.com. However, you will not be entitled to any refund of fees paid after services have commenced (see Refund Policy).

15.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to terminate our services and relationship with you if:

  • You provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information

  • You engage in illegal or unethical conduct

  • You fail to cooperate or provide required information in a timely manner

  • You breach these Terms and Conditions

  • You engage in abusive, threatening, or disrespectful behavior toward our staff

In the event of termination for cause, you will not be entitled to any refund.

16. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, pandemics, or public health emergencies

  • Acts of government, war, terrorism, or civil unrest

  • Changes in visa regulations or immigration policies

  • University closures or policy changes

  • Technical failures of third-party platforms

In such circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to resume services as soon as possible.

17. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

Material changes will be communicated to active clients via email or other appropriate means.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan.

18.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lahore, Pakistan.

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first to resolve the matter informally. If we cannot reach a resolution, you may pursue legal remedies in accordance with Pakistani law.

19. Miscellaneous Provisions

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Hoist Horizons Consultancy regarding our services.

19.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

19.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

19.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to a successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Headings in these Terms are for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of any provision.
